Dr. Michael J. Spataro, founder of the Cat Hospital of Ocean County, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa, Florida in 1980. He attended the Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with distinction in 1986. Dr. Spataro grew up in northern New Jersey and enjoys boating, fishing, surfing and just hanging out with his family. He worked at several small animal hospitals following graduation, then in 1992 he pursued his dream of owning a feline-only practice. He enjoys interacting with clients and their furry feline friends
